Some of Our 'Menu' Prices
Oil, Filter, Lubrication Service - (recommended every 3,000 miles or every 3 months, whichever comes first) - In general, the driving
conditions in our region would be considered severe (hot and humid in summer; cold winter temps; stop and go driving in beltway and inner
city situations, at least at times; etc.).
Our service includes an oil and filter change, lubrication of front suspension and steering linkage, lubrication of door and hood hinges
and latches. Tire pressures are adjusted, air filter inspected, and major fluids checked and topped off. A general inspection (under
hood & undercarriage) is performed to alert you of any problems you may not be aware of.
$34.99 + tax (most passenger cars and light trucks)
Radiator & Cooling System Flush -
(Recommended annually) - Antifreeze becomes acidic over time. As a result, harmful deposits build up which clog the cooling tubes in
radiators, and metal parts in the engine corrode (which eventually become leakage points). To prevent excessive deposits from building up
and to limit corrosion, we recommend flushing the cooling system of most cars annually. There are a few exceptions. Some coolants, like
GM's Dexcool brand, found in some General Motors vehicles; and, like Toyota's Long Life Antifreeze, can go much longer without harmful
damage occurring. However, even when those coolants are used, eventually those systems should be flushed out, only less frequently.
For our Radiator and Cooling System Flush, we use a chemical flush kit by BG Chemical. We have found that this is the most thorough way
to flush systems, safest for your engine, and will give your engine the greatest protection. Most vehicles are going to use a gallon or
more of antifreeze in the process. Labor, Cooling System Chemical Kit, & Antifreezestarts at $169.95 + tax depending on make/model of vehicle.
Tire Rotation and Balance (all four wheels) - Computer spin balance all four wheels and tires, rotate tires for optimum
performance and wear, and adjust all four tire pressures $50.00 (most passenger cars and light trucks)
Hunter Road Force Balancing and Matching - Using our state of the art GSP 9700 Road Force Balancer we have the ability to test your tires and
wheels for run-out and match the wheels and tires to your vehicle for the best ride possible. This service is also an excellent tool for determining a
source of vibration problems. Please call for pricing.
Brake System Inspection - We remove all four
wheels, measure front disc rotors for thickness & variance and compare to the original manufacturer's specifications; likewise, we
measure brake drums and compare to maximum diameter specifications. We inspect all brake hydraulic hoses for cracks and fraying. We
inspect brake fluid level and condition (moisture contamination is a major cause of hydraulic component failure). And, we inspect the
brake master cylinder, vacuum booster, calipers and wheel cylinders. It is a very thorough brake inspection! $55.00 (most passenger
cars and light trucks)
Four Wheel Thrust Alignment - On many vehicles today, adjustments can be made for the rear wheels, as well as the front.
And, even if a vehicle doesn't allow for rear wheel adjustments, knowledge of the overall geometry of the vehicle can be obtained by performing a
four-wheel thrust alignment. In a four-wheel thrust alignment, the rear wheels are taken into account when aligning the front wheels - it is more
accurate than a standard front wheel alignment, and in those cases where there are factory adjustments are possible for the rear wheels, they can be made!
$89.99 (most passenger cars and light trucks)
30,000 Mile Interval Maintenance Service - Typically includes: Our complete Oil, Filter, Lubrication Service (see above
description); rotation and balance all four wheels, complete brake inspections and clean and adjust rear brakes; battery service; service throttle body;
inspect accessory drive belts and adjust as necessary. Inspect steering and suspension; front drive axles, boots and seals. Inspect exhaust. Chemical
flush cooling system; add BG 44K Fuel Injection Cleaner. Service differential(s), service transmission (or transaxle) with BG Automatic Transmission
Fluid Conditioner as applicable. Adjust valves as necessary or applicable. Perform engine tune up (includes: performance test engine, replace spark
plugs; inspect and replace distributor cap and ignition rotor as needed; service crankcase ventilation system; adjust ignition timing). Road test vehicle
for drivability and performance. Prices vary with make and model - call with your vehicle information for accurate pricing.
